Pastor: - We are currently between pastors. Our previous pastor, Rich Sisco, retired from ministry, and we are involved in an active pastoral search effort at this time.

Administrative Assistant: Barbara Taft

Barbara has been attending Koinonia with her husband, Mike, since 2003, shortly after moving to Mesa from San Jose, California.  She has a Master's in Political Science/International Relatons from San Jose State, and also completed a Master's in Criminal Justice Administration from the same school.  She holds Bachelor's degrees in Penology and Journalism as well.  Her career was as an ESL teacher, with a specialty in Accent Improvement for foreign-born professionals.  She has also owned her own businesses, first a typing service, and later a private school, before retiring in 2002.  She has taught college political science courses on the Middle East, and has traveled there 10 times, most recently as the leader of a tour group in the winter of 2009.  She is the co-chair of the Middle East Committee of Women's International League for Peace and Freedom and serves on the board of the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America.
